Celica headlight covers - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #79599 11 posts Started by dtrue1
so i have these headlight covers. From what i read, theyre pretty hard to find, but I don't like the look of them at all so i'm probably going to take them off. Will they leave a mark or something if i do? Should they stay on or take them off?

Also, if anyone is interested in buying the full set off me, just let me know smile.gif

are those tinted? can't really tell by the picture.

they shouldn't leave a mark but it's up to you whether you want to take them off or not.
You said you didn't like it so take it off. it's your car afterall smile.gif

how much would you let it go for too?

You may be better off to sell it as a whole unit, all four headlights with the covers installed, in exchange for someones OEM headlights without the covers.
Cause those things are pretty rare, and it would really suck to damage them taking them off.

the low's are really easy to remove, there's just one screw holding it on top. the high beams are a bit more of a pain to remove though.

no theyre not tinted or anything, they're the original clear plates. They were installed on the car when i bought it, so theyre used but in very good condition.

i've got some private messages of people asking me for offers and such. Because these are so rare and hence have no market value, what should i be looking for?

I'd consider swapping for some projectors or something but i drive my car almost every day and can't go without the headlights (sort of illegal). i'd be mainly interested in selling.

and as Jordisonjr said, i'd most likely dismount the headlights with the covers still attatched to prevent damages, so what sort of price should i look at selling them for? i have no idea about this sort of thing.

i know they're rare, but i don't think anyone is willing to trade their projectors for them. $100 shipped. biggrin.gif
so whats the worth of these covers? if i was to sell the whole headlight unit (all 4 lights), how much should i be looking for?

About 250-300 max, those are not really stylish or anything, regular sets costs like 200-250 max, so I think closer to 300 is reasonable

depends on the customer. I'd offer a pack of KP nuts for them?
i bought mine new for a little over $100 shipped
