Hey guys,
I'm graduating from Purdue on Sunday, and I think I might be headed back to Sydney to work for the company that I interned for last summer. I would be working mainly in Roseberry but would also in the CBD a few times a week. I would ideally like to live in a Single-friendly place with a good nightlife or by the beach. I was thinking Bondi, Bondi Beach, Coogee or something similar. I'm looking for suggestions. My budget is ideally under $250/pw or $1,000 a month. I would also be looking for a car, but more importantly housing! Let me know people!

So you want to live in your own apartment? for 250/pw? I think that is too low if you wish to live in bondi etc. Everything in sydney is ****ing expensive!

You would be looking at $500 for rental /pw in that area

Well ideally I would love to be in my own place on Bondi for that, but I know it's not happening. I open to living with someone, but my own, private room is a must. I'm open to living anywhere around Sydney. I'm looking for advice from you natives! And yes, I know it's effing expensive there. But I loved it

Well, a majority of my time will be spent in the warehouse in Roseberry, and then a small amount of time in the Ernst & Young building downtown in the CBD. Since I will have to travel to the kiosks themselves occasionally, I'm going to have to get a car regardless at some point. So, I dont think the train has a big bearing on where I live. And yes, I want to be close to the city.

The offer they sent me actually includes a cash car allowance, so I guess I'll start looking for a car too!
