yea i looked at both, ebay has outrageous shipping and theres not many 7ms around my area. but it will be a wile before i can work on it, maybe something will pop up.
You're wasting your time on page 2, 3, or even 4. Page 17 is ridiculous. Supraforums is one of the largest forums on the planet, perhaps 2nd to Hondatech. The knowledge base is far wider, so I'm not sure what you mean by "a good one" if the one with the most information isn't cutting it.

Supraforums is mainly for the mk4s, but it def has some good info on mk3s. But supramania is the main site for mk3s, its like celicatech and 6gc, celicatech has some great info on 6gcs, but nothing like 6gc.net. On the outer shell supramania looks like it doesn't have much info(as the stickies dont lay everything out like they do on 6gc.net)but if you start searching that site has an ungodly amount of info in it. Feel free to PM me on supramania and i will help you more (ask92).

When you say "blown motor" im sure you mean the engine has a bad head gasket, which is an easy fix. 7mgtes are pretty easy to find(i have 2 in my back yard lol), as most mk3 supras are on jack stands or being parted out.

i wish it was just a blown head gaskit. it was my gf little sisters first car, and it had a oil leak and she never put oil in it, and it went pop, with a big hole in the block.
So im guessing its non turbo then? Will you be swapping in a 7mgte or just stick with the 7mge?
Get a replacement 7MGE block from like a Cressida or something and replace. i don't recall if there was much of a difference between the GTE and GE block aside from the obvious rotating assembly.
