electrical issues - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #78847 6 posts Started by TurboZ
so the other day I got around to installing a replacement alternator and battery for the celica. This alternator was 10 amps bigger and just a stock replacement battery, but now there's no power windows, door locks, sunroof, mirrors, and heating fan doesn't work. Anyone ever experience something like this before on theirs? I'm trying to look through wiring diagrams for a common source but I just thought I'd check if anyone has any insight.
Thanks
check your fuses, most likely problemm
all fuses were checked, and their all good. haven't checked relays though, but i have my doubts on that one too
a higher output alt won't blow anything, My guess is you accidentally blew a fuse or a fusible link maybe whilst changing things out

I thought animated avatars arent allowed?? ^^

10amps difference would do harm, there was an installation issue

I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
