How do I check the clutch fluid?
Check the resivour attached to the firewall by the brake master cylinder.
Chances are the clutch master cylinder is going/ is bad.

Good thing is that replacing master cylinder on Celica is piece of cake.

Agree with above, same thing happened to me, switch the cylinder out and its been good ever since
QUOTEwhat hes saying is if you put blue lights in you car youll lose hp.
take it from me and buy toyota oem. I tried parts store masters a bunch of times and they've all failed.
rebuild the slave cylinder too for good measure. the oem kit only costs $10 and 30 mins (or less) of your time.

Thanks for the info guys.
I'm in kind of a weird boat here. I'm having this problem [which I take it is the master cylinder going bad] but I also have rattling from the throw out bearing. I know it's TOB because rattling stops when I push in clutch pedal.
The clutch itself grabs fine though and it doesn't slip.
What do?
