Friends ST185 - 6G Celicas Forums

I have a friend with a JDM ST185 its run by a Power FC SW20 ECU and has a BLITZ SSBC boost controller ( wires are cut not hooked up to anything) and the CT20B of my GT Four.

Question #1. Will the ECU work with my 205? how do I know which REV it is?

Q#2. Will the reason the car made a lean hole in piston 3 be because it has this ECU and original 440cc injectors? ( Have not checked this part out what injector size it has)

Q#3 What solenoid thingymabob do I need to be able to control the boost with the blitz unit??

Q#4 The car idles around 1200-1300 rpm and when you press hard on the brakes idle falls and rises back and corrects itself still at the fast pace. (the battery is dead maybe this influences it?)

Q#5 When revving 3-4 times to 5-6K the intercooler hot light and CEL comes on and then shuts off...

185 and 205 ECU pin outs are different.

The 185 doesnt have a MAF its clearly a 3rd gen ECU

i might be wrong, but i believe that the PFC is only for the ST205. they never made one for a ST185. If this one is for a SW20 its with a 3rd gen engine.

sorry double post. So taking that his car has been wired to work with that standalone my ecu can work on his car?
