i have been wondering.
Recently searching i came across that the HUB with the celica and the st205 are the same part number.
Most toyotas have very similar part numbers.
The question is, anybody has had the chance to compare the hub of the celica 5x100 vs the Camry 5x114.3.
if they are very similar in dimensions, maybe changing the bearings..
Its been done all the times in the 1gc,
Reasons behind it, are just pure conjectures, ideas, blah, blah blah, anyone has a camry hub?

talk to trdgt4 I believe he changed out his hub and now has 5x114.5 bolt battern. I know your asking for these because you just don't find as man nice offset rims in 5x100 that will suite out celica right??
Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle partshttp://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...p;#entry1107514
It gives other possibilities for rims, disc, and trd brakes....
the offset can be fixed with spacers.. but the rest cant.///

it wasn't TRDGT4, but another NZ'er (Anth-205) who's running 5x114.3 (and has been for some time)
hope he doesn't mind me saying some of the work he's done

modified Supra disks (pm him to see if he can talk in detail about what was changed)

cool thanks, is he still active in the site, wonder what year rav 4.
the hub might change, but given the dimensions of the bearing, pretty sure we can find one to adapt....

I looked into this before, you will keep your original Celica baaring, and use a Camry / rav4 hub, I'm at work so don'ty have my notes here, but from top of my head the hubs are mostly the same but the bearings are different. I think I was looking at a Camry 1999 when I was looking into this.
I was also looking into 4 x 100 which is just as easy, earlier celicas hubs with 4 x 100 are compatible with our bearings as well.
reason why I didn't go with either ? I found wheels that fit properly, that was my only motive.
well, yeah, i was thinking this would be a great mod, but i have bought some 5x114.3 things...
but ill look into it...
