SO I saw this site on Celica.net. The rear brake conversion for 250, but it says 93+ Does anyone know if it will fit? I am thinking it might because the 5th and 7th have the same rotor pattern, then again Im not so mechanically inclined. can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks
Jeremy
I would really say its not worth it.... To much of a pain in the arse and money, why sepnd just to stop a few feet, i mean i love disc, but reall imo not worth it, but i wouold say get the stuff from a junk yard, they gottem and real cheap
I'm getting ready to do the conversion. Several others have already done it. I think its totally worthwhile for the obvious reasons. I don't even know how you could argue that it's not worthwhile unless you were talking about an all out autocross car that doesn't need the added cooling and where the added stopping power isn't worth the few lbs of extra weight.
Theres a how to on this site for it. Get the parts from a junkyard if you can, just make sure the calipers are in good condition and you clean and flush everything out really well.
