I cam across this electric supercharger thing. It's simmiler to that tornado cookie cutter lookin thing that I always see on tv but electric. Sounds kinda cool but I don't know how well it will work. Has anyone used it?

those are a waste of money.. if you really want one then just go to a local hardware store and you can purchase all of the parts there for alot cheaper.

there have been tests done on those and they can actually slow done the flow of air inside of your intake.. If I can find it I will post the results of a guy with a camero that installed that and checked the air flow volume of it and it was alot worse with it installed

that is an electric SC. it operates off of 12v batteries(preferable multiple racing batteries) that you have to store on the car.

it is an actual roots type SC with the pulley assembly replaced with a tri motor setup.

lasts all of 15 seconds

$3k for 15 seconds of 5.5psi at 405cfm.

i'll let you know when the cost of my REAL turbo setup hits $3k and it runs 8psi(my turbo can do 20+psi no sweat) all damn day long.

edit: cuz if your talking for the mods to the car... hell I blew by the 30K mark a few months ago and still havent looked back - and thats just things that I have reciepts for >>
