I own a95 Celica ST, AT tran. I want to do an engine swap using the 3s-gte engine( the 97-98 celica gt4's engine ).
I'll send pictures of my celica soon. and the things im buying for it.

Search around,there's a few threads on both the 3sgte swap and the automatic swap. Search in the FI section for the swap and engine/ tranny area for the tranny swap. You can use the stock GT transmission on the 3sgte if you aren't going for huge power numbers.

playing gt5. created a room called Toyota vs honda and im using the GT4 wooping all Hondas and a Subaru Sti 09 lol. dont underestimate toyota honda.

lol... i don't think people know much about the celicas, well the 6th gen. no one uses them in granturismo. never saw any1 use one yet.

Oh and i tried to upload my pictures and it gave me a box to type the url. so that means i have to go to a website where u post photos and use that website to put it on here?

I bought my celica for $900 off some older people. My cousin has a 94 gt and me and him want to both upgrade are celicas. he just needs to get a job and he's in 12th grade so he doesnt have much time. We're probably going to work on our celicas during the summer time. His dad is an autobody person so he can help paint my car. I'll send more pictures of my celica and my cousin's gt. I wish i had his gt because its already MT. and i've read that it's easier to do swap on the gt. IDK

no need for caps man, but no i'm not mad. I'd rather see a build thread than someone talking about a video game that's all.
just a word of advice, it's not going to be an ST-4 because once you swap in the 3s it'll be a GT-2 because you won't have AWD.


I do agree with suprakid about putting the 7 posts into one post, it's more convenient and preferred.

As with the manual swap, it's just as difficult between both ST and GT. We'll it's not that hard if you know what you're doing and you have the right tools and equipment to do it. I believe there is a sticky on how to do the Auto2Manual so read up on that and gain some info on the swap

glad to see another swap on the way! but its not st 4, its a half-trac thats what we called my bro's 91 st when we swaped it a while back! good luck on swap! and smokin those sti's!!!!!!
