Here we go, Spring 2011 Midwest Meet. The meeting place is as usual for lunch and a small photoshoot, then on to hiking at Matthiesson, then dinner for anyone interested. Meeting around noon. The attendance list and what we are bringing is as follows:

Cool. Glad to see there is some quick interest. I'm starting a new job next week and should have the Celica back on the road within two months. It won't look special, but it'll have that super-top-secret swap you're dying to see, Tom. I don't know what my work schedule will be but we can get something together.

I would like to have warmer weather (and to drive my Celica to this meet,) so I was thinking sometime around May. Or we can do it a little sooner and do a Spring meet then a Summer meet later. I'm good any time you guys are.

Chris, I'd love to get my Celica to the Dragon. I should have it road-worthy before then, but I'd rather not test the car's limits on a few hundred mile run down the interstate, take it on the Dragon, then drive it back home. But keep me updated on the Dragon, since I know the IS is welcome there now. I may have to make an appearance, maybe be the camera car or something.

Hey I'd be interested in the meet this year
I've been throwing around a couple of ideas. Last year I went out to Toyota Fest in Cali and I'm not sure if I'm gonna do it again this year. I was thinking about a Tal of the Dragon/Deals Gap run down in Tennessee around memorial day...

Noberto was just saying that St. Louis was a closer drive to him than Starved Rock. It'd be cool if he made the drive to Starved Rock, but that's probably 10 hours one way for him.
