>Nice post! Haha. But cheers man!
I've enjoyed where I've started, came from and am at today.
I'll probably end up painting or going another set if wheels one day:p
But for now, I'm happy I can have a nice clean car again!
Anyway,
Behind the scenes shots, as in before/after post processing, or for some of the rolling shots etc?
Half of my images are in Flickr, which tells you my EXIF data on the settings I've used.
But for reference, here's my gear (starting gear that I haven't upgraded yet haha)
Body: Canon 500D (Rebel T1i)
Main lens: Canon 17-85mm EFS 1:4-5.6 IS USDM (Polarizer Filter, ND Filter)
Second lens: Canon 50mm EF 1:1.8
Zoom lens: Tamron 70-300mm Tele-Macro 1:4-5.6 LD Di
Metz 36 AF-5 Flash
Manfrotto tripod
Manfrotto suction mounts/magic arm and custom rig.
Programs:
Photoshop CS4
Photomatix HDR
All that gear is pretty much bottom of the line started slr gear I got a few years ago, yet to upgrade.
Haha, and that is the most important thing (you being happy with your car)

I was meaning like a cell phone pic from behind the camera actually showing how the rigging is set up, because I dare say it would look pretty cool

I will need to check out your Flickr, but I forgot that was another bone I wanted to pick with you, you have heaps of dead Flickr links in the first few pages of your thread

Yay - Canon person!

And I certainly don't have any excuse now; I started with a Canon 50D and 17-85 but now I have;
Body: Canon 7D
Primary Lens: Canon 17-55mm 2.8 IS USM
Prime: Canon 60mm 2.8 USM Macro (with 50mm 1.8 back up)
Telephoto: Canon 70-200mm f4L USM (The cheap one

)
Ultra-Wide: Canon 10-22mm USM.
Canon 580EX Speedlite Flash
Canon 420EX Speedlite Flash
Canon ST-E2 Wireless Flash Transmitter
Manfrotto Tripod (Old style)
1.5m light cube for product photography.
6x3m backdrop stand with a few backdrops and a couple of various reflectors and light umbrellas.
I used to be really really into it but since I started uni last year I lost a bit of interest in it... I still want to get out there and take photos, but I just don't have any inspiration on what yo do, or time to find it

I wouldn't mind doing some proper car stuff like you do
