I have never lived anywhere that has had large amounts of snow/ice and sandy crap. My rims look horriable right now, even with some light scrubbing with a green dish cleaning pad it is still there. Even with very hard scrubbing it is still there. I was wondering if there is some type of rim cleaner I should use that wont damage my rims?
Thanks in advance,
Lazurus
I know a power washer will do it well haha my dad did that to mine and it took a lot of the brake dust off.
Are your rims aftermarket or OEM?
I use simple green and a green scrubby. Not the most gentle option but the stock paint on my tC rims is pretty stout.
On the rim face? Or on the lip? Are they painted or polished?
On my polished lips I would use 1000 grit wet sand to remove small imperfections and follow with 2000 grit wet sand. Finally hit it with billet aluminum polish on a Mother's Powerball.
