Since I'm soon to be reassembling by dash and such I'm looking for a nice torque wrench. Where should I look? What type would you recommend?

snap on, craftsman, etc........any big name brand. Personally, when I cheap out on tools (used to) I've had iffy results. Spend the money and get something decent. But yeah, snap on...we use em at my shop and they are solid.

Snap-on is out of my budget range... Any recommendations that aren't so expensive? What about a used one? What type would you recommended? I've used a beam one for a while.
borrow one.......but a craftsman should be in price range (i got on for around 30 bucks on sale)
go to autoparts and rent one. rent for 100, clean it and return it..

the problem about renting a torque wrench is you have no idea if its within tolerance. Same goes for owning one, but most people I know that have a torque wrench (at least on that costs a bit) treat them gently. They dont go around dropping them, throwing them, etc....I have no idea if any rental place sends in torque wrenches for calibration.
Best bet, if you dont want to buy one, borrow it from someone local. If you cant do that, get a craftsman, they run about 100 new (and cheaper if you can get them on sale). Not the "best" but a decent brand. Just stay away from digital, IMO.

Craftsman for sure will give you the most bang for your buck. Just remember that craftsman torque wrenches dont have the return policy that their other products have it kinda sucks but ive had mine for 5 yrs and it still works perfect
