i have put one aluminium plate to protect the interior wing until ill fix it, its not getting worst for now,
but its just that i cant do rust job outside now because its snowing and i cant do it outside during winter, i need to find a garage for 2 or 3 day...
car stop suddently
the efi fuses blew up,
so i change it and it blew again, and then i search for a short,
found that behind the engine, on the firewall, the main wiring harness was hit by the engine when accelerating creating 3 wire to been cut and touch the engine ground.....not good

i just loom it back all good and change the position of the harness behind the engine and fix it there whit tape so it not moving, also,
i have dismount the engine fusesbox because changing the efi fuses didnt work first time,
i did need the replace the wire inside the fusesbox cause it was completly burn,

but now my car have more power at low rpm , maybe the short cut that had the main harness was really bad..

anyway, fixed smile.gif

im getting the old lenses to a compagny of acrylic near my home so they will do mold and make new clear from it, i also send my turn signal,

.......they wont do it, its like 300$ each piece......

so...i dont know what to do but i got one ideas...

why cant i drill hole in the original glass and put fiber glass there,
i mean, drill the original glass the hole big like the projector of the clear one and keed the side of the headlight frosty like the clear one,
.....
Please. For the love of god learn proper english. You cannot "drill a hole" into glass. But please, by all means, try.
why would you put fiberglass on glass? FIBERGLASS IS FOR BODYWORK, NOT HEADLIGHTS.

and why not try to make your own molds, it shouldn't be too hard to do.

making my own mold ....
yeah, that can be done, maybe if i fill the inside of the lens whit some material and ,
after that, pull back the material out of ther lens
and cover it whit a plexiglass and
heat it up until it take the form.....

or if someone have a better ideas ^?

yes you can..

That is a perfectly flat piece of untreated, unaltered glass, our lenses are neither. But again, please try and video tape it.

Here's an idea, BUY SOME PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS. That way at least your headlights will be built well.

Those 2 words don't belong in the same sentence. And no, for an OEM part that delivers light so greatly and looks so epic that price is great. If you want cheap parts go get a honda.

Ive done honda its boring because its so cheap. An needles isnt the first on here to make his own lights.
Yea there a great light an for them being factory at a desent price but not everyone can drop 600 on lights when they can make there own unique light for alot less. Thats all im saying

Can you please provide some links to some people who have made "custom lights"? I know the clear lenses from Rayme are floating around, but other than that I thought it was pretty much all talk.
Raymes lenses are as rare as trd bumpers. And even IF you can find a set when you price in the rest of the parts your gonna be close to the price that OEM projectors are.

I'm telling you directly. I don't like what you write. I think you have some good ideas and could have a very nice celica if you didn't half ass everything and did some simple maintenance here and there.
Y dont you both leave eachother alone
Needles if you dont like his opinion ignore it
Suprakid if ya dont like his thread dont read it

i already have the projector, its gonna cost 50$ maximum of plexiglass,
i already setup my own ideas how to do it, i will have the piece tommorow and i will show the progress

i will put the plexiglass on the lenses, and i will heat it up whit my heat gun
when the surface gonna get the good shape, i will cut it all around , but i will need to create the border ,
for that, i will use aliminum since the border of the lenses are invisible due to the black rubber around the lenses,
and glue it to the lenses,
i will also maybe put custom mini led on the side,

i dont know if i will get smoke plexi or clear....

i already work on the inside , to create the pattern around the projector, that is i think, gonna be the hardest part, ist the design of the headlight and need to be ecxat thing for each side

i have a few pic of my version 0.01 whit the frosty lenses...
