I did check my engine today, and to let you know I've (and probably every other 5S owner) has the same "mystery" hole with threads. And mine is dry.

quick update,

after I discovered my horribly low oil level, I topped it off with 3 quarts of mobile 1 10-30 until I could figure out what was wrong with the engine. I drove the celi like this for about a week before giving it a proper oil change just now. Fortunately the oil that came out didn't have any silver swirls in it. There wasn't anything stuck to the drain plug either, but I'm not sure if its even magnetized. Tomorrow I'm going to cut open my K&N oil filter to see if there were any large bits of metal stuck in there. So far it looks like I dodged a bullet (again)

yup, i hate it down in schaumburg. gas is over priced.. and its sh**t gas. illinois in general isnt a state i would want to live in ever. if school wasnt there i would stay far away hahah.

I don't really care for this place much either. It's nice being sorta centralized to everything though...

i hate the weather. especially the resulting salt and what it does to our cars.
