Who here listens to Rave, House, Techno, etc? - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #76845 8 posts Started by mkernz22
Reason I'm asking is because I DJ and I only do birthday parties, school dances, and sh!t like that.
I want to start getting into the whole mixing part of deejaying because cross fading from song to song gets very boring, very fast.
Recently, I've been getting some House and Rave, but with Itunes I can't seem to find the "good stuff" that I always hear in videos on youtube kindasad.gif
If you guys want to make a huge list, be my guest lol but I'm mainly looking for artists and good websites that are strictly for that stuff!

^ LMAO.

Listening to some fine, fine dubstep right now. Very chill stuff though. I can definitely recommend some absolute ear-fawkery if you're into that.

hey,

I love Rave and Trance,

I'd start out with DI.fm their channels can give you some ideas. depending how fast you want your rave music, Happy Hardcore usually does a show on DI on Wednesdays I think. if you want anything else let me know!

If you like Happy Hardcore, check out Dj Cotts and Dj Ravine on youtube. Dj Ravine usually has links to download his mixes and they been approved to do whole sets beyond the 10min mark now, which are about an hour. It's funny... Happy Hardcore back in my day (95'+) was the one sub-music genre of Electronica that nobody really liked to admit to liking. I admit that I fancy it for the most part and since 2002, it has gotten MUCH better.
