So I definitely need to change my front shocks. Looked in a couple places and found a pretty good deal on a pair of KYB GR-2s (cartridges only), KYB mounts, and KYB boots. That pretty much covers what I should change, right?
I was originally planning to change the rear shocks, but they seem to be fine (maybe 20-30k miles left on them). So I'm thinking... should I instead spend the money on a Suspension Techniques rear sway bar and Racing Beat Miata endlinks? The total for those is ~$230 (a little more than rear shocks+mounts+boots) so I figured it's money well (or at least better) spent.
Also, I'm definitely not doing the work myself. The mechanic is charging me $130 labor for the front shocks which seems very reasonable... with that in mind, how much should I expect for the sway bar installation?
