Hey guys, I was thinking about painting my car again. This time I want to go with a metallic color so can you guys posy pictures of your metallic paint jobs?

Prob not exactly what your looking for, but my base coat is a metallic silver. And I have some shots from when I was painting.
The metallic is used in the clear most of the time (at least to my understanding) mine was in the base. And way hope it holds you over till you get a real pic
You cant really see also to the extent the metallic "flake" is, it looked alot more like the metallic effect in person... but crappy cell phone cam cant show everything

I've spilt my heart into this car :) And I don't ever plan to stop- 6GC for Life ->Semper Fi<1994 Cupra :p 3sgte1995 Celica ST DD1969 Chevelle SSalllll balls. P2 approved!
The color looks awesome, i would like to see it whenever everything is put back together.

Yupp as manny said, i sprayed orange over the silver.
But the silver looked amazing! and it wasnt hard at all. I was very temped to keep the silver after I sprayed it, cause it looked really clean. but i had bigger plans

Yes i plan on repainting it again. I repainted the first time to artic white, but now i just want a nice metallic looking color.

well, technicly it does have metaillic (silver) in it, but the depth and candy effect is done with pearl powders, and is called a "tri-stage" or "candy" paint job.
i recently did dustin and steffs beams in a tri-stage that is actually a little similar to fastbirds car, actually.
