One of my light bulbs bit dust and I need to replace it.
Further down the road I intend to replace both of them with Sylvania Silverstar Ultra 9006 SU/2 bulbs but right now I'm broke.

I know that stock replacement for low beams is 9006/65W but can I use 9006/100W instead without risking blowing fuses or melting harness?

I've been running 9005 65w bulbs in my 9006 55w low beams for quite some time without issue, but I've never seen the 100w bulbs.

I rekon you will be riskying melting the harness, and ive never seen 100w bulbs. At least in australia, have you even thought about hids?

Straight from it's ad on ebay:

This Item is 100W Bulbs, Buyer Need To Check Wiring Or Fuse Before Installing

Just get an HID Kit for you car, don't risk messing something up with these poser HID bulbs.

Can't afford HID conversion kit, right now...

Can't afford ticket for non-moving violation (i.e. busted headlamp) either.

Not now for this one, but I got one couple years ago... They call it "fix-it-ticket", as soon as you can prove it that it's fixed then you get the ticket wiped out clean, but you have to go to court and loose a day at work. Either way it's too much hassle. Trying to avoid it.
