If you were considering buying this then BUY IT!!! It is sweet,it even looks different,lower and sleek...not too low though. It just looks good. The shifts are so much more precise. I have driven a miata and a BMW z-3 and my car now shifts like those did. It's awesome!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Just thought I would share that with anybody thinking about buying this.

I will probably do that next Im actually waiting for my header to get here. Ordered it off of nopi.com. I have a friend that works at toyota dealer, trd short shifter costs close to $200. He could probably get it for me for less(around $150), how much was yours and from where did you get it?

I got it from www.TRDextreme.com It was around 200 with the TRD shift know which I love!

i got mine from burientoyota.com for 140 new w/ the knob...they were runnin a special...it was a few months before i did the tranny/motor swap, but i knew i would never come across that deal again. >>. iono if they still carry it...give em a shot...

sweet, you shoulda put it on before we put your coils on so i could have seen it! I bet it's nice, i want one cause my shift pattern is far to "Random" i guess you'd call it(hit or miss).

actually i really like the quickshift...seems like it shifts better than the stock ones...they should have just put these in there instead of the stock ones >>

no,that is only the shifter,not the entire shift assembly

yea...screw takin that thing apart....i would just get the assembly...although tryin to get it in and out w/o cutting that piece was the hardest part of the hole thing...and the only thing that made the process lengthy... i would just spend an extra 20-30 bucks to get the whole thing....enjoy
