Hey guys, a few of you have been following NGHTKD's thread about the cupra-r lip he used on his '4,( http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=75225 ) I think it looks great, but after looking into it some, shipping on the lip totally kills the whole "cheap" part of it for us over here in the usa.
since I work at a bodyshop, I see these style of lips all the time..., so, I started checking them out as they came in.
Week before last, we repaired an 08 Hyundi Elantra, and ordered a new front bumper lip for it.
When it came in, I took it out to my car at work, and just kinda taped it to the car, to check for legnth, and it looked pretty good, right off the bat.
I went ahead, and ordered one, and it came in a few days later.

One of the great things about this lip, is the list price is 40.01$ I paid 32.01$ with our discount, and you can get it for the same price online, or at any one of your local hyundi dealers.

here is what it looks like on the elantra:
I installed it this weekend, all told it prolly took me 20 minutes. depending on how agressive you want it to look, you can mount it closer to the edge of the bumper, or set back into the recess where the underbody plastics attach for a more subtle look.
I wanted a more subtle look, so I mounted it set back into the recess, with a handfull of self-tapping screws.
Here are a few pics, its very subtle, which is exactly the look I wanted.
I havent decided if I want to trim the center section or not to get a bit more agressive somthing like this in the middle ____/```````\____
I'll try and get some better pics over the next couple of days.
