End of August is here and (sorry if I just missed something) I do not see anyone who is trying to manage calendar for the next year... is that mean we will not have any this year?

idk who does it or has done it, but i kinda assumed they would use the celi of the month pics? i dont think we should start submitting something different, the month pics are good and voted oppon smile.gif

Swiss, I thought she only did last years one?

mgnt232, the COTM is new this year, was under the impression that we weren't using those ones when we first discussed the cotm idea.

I haven't heard anything yet malpaso, I was actually thinking about this a couple of days ago

i might be willing to step up to the plate and make this happen if there is interest. i might ask a friend, to help who is a graphic design major and my mom works for a local design/printing agency where we could print and bind.

any thoughts, ideas, opinions?...

Yup Griff and I both have done them in the past, its a lot of work and not a lot of people who say "in" always follow through.

Still have not seen any single response from anyone who manage the site... till than it's just calendar. You cannot use 6GC.NET logo etc... I would like to see someone from them say: "yes it is official." Do you understand what I mean? I can make my calendar for 10USD piece. Just get together 13 pictures (12+cover) and done. I remember what has happen two yeas ago about calendar and want to be sure it will not happen again.

smile.gif yea... I really have enough good pictures for "Malpaso's SS-Four" calendar. I have already asked for price for simple A4 size calendar (really simple) to wall an it is like $10... It's because I will make calendar for Celica Club Czech Republic members. This is template:



That reminded me 6gc.net tradition. To have official calendar. And that is why I asked...

i don;t care who does them. i volunteered as well. someone just needs to reach coomer to ok the use if the logo.

To Random_Stranger: I have no problem with enthusiasm but I do not have graphic skills and have no experience with professional work like this. I can only ask some around "can you print calendar?" take 13 pictures there and wait for result. Done... and I do not want disappoint anyone it looks not that professional as last years from Michelle. So this is just my opinion and my point of view:

I would be so glad if Michelle would do it because she is amazing graphic and he knows what to do... more over she had permission to do it last year so why not have this year? However. I accept her "Never again" from last year.
GT4OC.NET has no printed calendar. So Nial has experience with graphic but what about the rest? So I just do not know... what is the most important he must want to do it first. And so far only one who has enough enthusiasm (and guts wink.gif) to do it is garin.

As for why - cause once you get in a Calendar you are unelligible for future calendars for 2 years. IDK if that means I have to wait till 2011 or 2012.

Michelle says she was planning on doing the calendar. As far as rules for eligibility.... I think that rule is dumb

Coomer was around few days ago. Anyone asked? I mean if anyone who wants to do it has permission from him it is pure official calendar and GO! GO! GO!

note: would be nice to give this permission to moderators. permission to say "you can make official calendar".
