This is not edited part of my ride down the Stelvio (footage is from bend #4 to bend #19, so 1/3 of whole Stelvio). I was driving within speed limits (that is why on straight stages you can realize I do not run full throttle all the time) however you can see it was not slow ride at all and it was on public road. That is why I respect if any moderator will close it because someone may have a feeling it is on the edge of forum rules.

Quite a lot different! Not because he has an ST, but because of the stupid traffic. This was the vid where you drove ahead of us right? And also...where's the vid of us driving back up, and the ones right before Stelvio? I'm super anxious to see those.

I have already heard in the US you have mainly straight roads. No down hill and uphill, no bends. I can not imagine that.

You are right. Since we have been there twice I have footage from:

Stelvio (more funny side or let's say Italian side) - on snow up
Stelvio (Italian side) - sunny day down (vid you have above)
Stelvio (Italian side) - sunny day up (vid with Fredi, are you sure you wanna share with that on public? )
Stelvio (Swiss side) - on snow down
Stelvio (Swiss side) - sunny day up

Not at all true. Just in some areas its not too great. The renowned "Tail of the Dragon" has 317 curves in an 11 mile span. It's quite twisty. Not a consistent drop in altitude though. In the western areas of the states, there are plenty of mountain roads that are fun to tackle. Awesome footage though.

Hi Ferdi! Congrats to your safe return from Genova to Switzerland

Nice video! You were lucky, I got to the "slow cars" a few moments after you, but they were moving like one - minimum space was left between them. No way to overtake them Only with the last SUV I was lucky, but the memory card in my camera was full at that moment

Oh chit, it's Pavel! Thanks man. Took a while for me to get a ticket, but other than that, I did get back safely.

Of course I was lucky, I was in a GT-FOUR. But I did notice that Martin was always much faster than us when I was in the car with you, probably because he can overtake those kinds of people. Our fault for buying slow ST models, right? I assume you and Martin got back to CZ without any problems?

Well, in Italy we met Wolf, which was great as always. We spent the last night of our trip in the same hotel, where the PECM 2007 started - in Pilastro.
For the transit to Czech rep. we had pretty good weather and as we were talking a lot, we were not thinking about time much. And we spared some time on German highways
As soon as we crossed the German/Czech border a heavy rain started and was pursuing us almost to Prague
