what kind of problems exactly?
only problems i've ever read about is clearance issues in certain heads with certain cams...all on mr2oc of course.

are they the high lift ones?
IIRC those are the ones that need clearancing on certain heads.
i would run a search on mr2oc for more info.

yea, i saw your post, and did a quick search as well...only thing i found was using gen3 high lift cams in a gen2 head.

is it somthing that you could clearance yourself with a dremel? or a major issue?

Right where the op switch is there is a passage that goes into the head I could shave it but I don't know if its actually safe to shave it there otherwise its gonna be time for a new head

i cant say for sure one way or the other, but i would guess as long as your not going to cut into an oil passage that delivers pressured oil, you would be fine grinding out some material.

anyone with a sure answer? kinda need to know by tomorrow so i can put this head back together....and put the cams up for sale
sorry i cant be more help man, hopefully the guys on mr2oc will have an answer for ya now that you posted up a pic.
i would imagine there would be enough material there for you to grind it out enough for the cam to clear...worse case, you could call jim, i know for sure he has at least a couple spares around from talking to him. wink.gif
