Tires - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #74918 14 posts Started by HectortheRican
I just want a tire that's sticky, so it'll be nice for when I want to drive playfully every now and then, but good for all-season, so I don't have to worry about losing control, hydro-planing, etc.
Any good suggestions?

Im there now, and as far as the best reviewed all season is the Continental Extreme Contact DWS. It ranks excellent to superior in all catagories.
I just looked at the Pirreli PZero Nero All Season and it's gotten pretty good reviews as well, also being a notable performance tire company.

Like once or twice and it's not even more than an inch or two. But I'll be moving to Albuquerque, NM in mid-August and I don't know how their winters are

well look into dat me i will be running pirelli p4 all seasons on my steelies for fall and winter and for the other months i have not decided wat to run on my rims im thinking S drives or maybe proxes 4 havent really decided yet dont need them for now
The best All-Season i have used is Kumho Ecsta ASX. For an all-season tire, they kick-ass. Just don't expect any great snow traction.

A couple of the best Summers you can get are either Kumho Ecsta XS or Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1. The Ecstas have better dry traction and the Direzzas have better wet traction.

i had some yokaoma avid v4s's on my car when i first got it. stuck to the ground great but wore away quickly, also they sucked in the snow
i vote for V4s
and Dunlop Direzzas

x2 the above and add in the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tire as an amazing summer tire to go along with the Ecsta XS and Direzza Sport Z1's. Another really good all season tire is the BFG Super Sport A/S H/V I watch a video of these tires be tested on snow and pavement and they do a damn good job.
