sign pettition for world cup in usa - 6G Celicas Forums
What?! I think there are a lot of other countries that deserve a chance before you lot get it again
You'll probably all lose interest again anyway when we destroy you tomorrow

signed...... wait, like feck i've signed

i see it looks like im a bit outnumbered here nevertheless USA!!! FTW
It's rare to have a team repeat at host that quickly. Mexico did it in 16 years, but most teams have to wait 30, 40, 50 years.

Didnt the US host the world cup in 1994? I guess it will be a while before you get it again. There are about 200 countries that play football as a sport, even if only 5% of them get a chance to host the world cup in will be about 22 years before you get to host it again.
As for the match on saturdy ........USA will score first....England will go out in their typical arrogant "we are going to win" attitude, get a shock when the USA scores in the first 20 mins.....then we`ll come back and beat you 3-1.....USA 1 England 3
Good luck to both teams.

Yeah it was 1994. That's why I said it's rare but not unheard of (Mexico 1970 & 1986).

As much as I love soccer and the US team, England will take it. Petition will be signed!
Except for some Lotus in the states here with Celica motors.
We invented MUSCLE cars. That you can't deny. As for the freedom... ehhh that's debatable.

It doesn't matter where the event is held at... Most Americans don't watch it anyway.
Aren't the British bothered by injuries? Maybe the Americans might have a chance winning tomorrow

the ENGLAND team (not Britain) do have a few injuries, especially in defence.... But that should be no excuse. We'll have to see

TVR, Nobel & McLaren are just about the only ones
Lotus is owned by Proton (malaysian)
Mini Cooper is of course just a BMW (German) Nothing at all to do with the original Austin Mini (UK)
Jaguar is Owned by Tata an Indian Steel Company
Aston Martin is owned by a UK/Kuwait/USA venture...Dave Richards of Prodrive, John Sinders (USA) & Adeem Investment of Kuwait
In reality even Mclarens biggest share holder is Mumtalakat Holding Company of Bahrain
Out of the companies you mentioned only Nobel is a true British/English car manufacturer.
Anyway back to football........ at one point the USA had bought more tickets to see the world cup than any other country and by all accounts its a popular amature sport out there, i wouldnt be so quick to write off the USA team....still dont think they`ll beat us (England) though......... but I would laugh my tits off if they did.
