FS: feeler for armrest recover or exchange - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #74088 8 posts Started by xtinkt94
I noticed everyones armrests look like they could use a new cover. Let me know what you think about an exchange deal.
You send me yours (as long as its in good shape plastic wise) and I will send you a recovered one, or I could recover yours with whatever. Price would vary on different materials for the cover but a plain black would be about $30 shipping included.

Yeah, pretty much however you want. The company I order from has all kinds of cool stuff. Everything from carbon fiber look to fake gator and snake. Just let me know what your looking for.

I would be interested in a plain black/charcoal leather (real leather) one to match the factory leather seats BUT:

I don't like the one-piece look because when you wrap it you end up with wrinkles at the edge (see picture above). I would want the tailored type with two seams along the sides so there are no wrinkles.

I'm not gonna mess with real leather
Real leather is $315 a hide. A hide is about 3 1/2 yards of workable material. It would take about 1 square foot of material to cover your armrest. It wouldn't really be cost effective for either of us.
