I was replacing my led lights on my rear license plate frame and the left socket buried itself up inside the hole. It won't come out with duck tape or pliers. I feel like my only option is to remove the license plate assembly but i have no idea how. If anyone has instructions or can walk me through this today, I would GREATLY appreciate it. This is for a 94 gt hatchback

this happened o mine today i removed the boot seal and put my screw driver in the gap then just wedged it open and grabbed it then using the screw driver pused it down and twisted it to lock it in place
