so yesterday i went to New England Dragway for the first time and had a BLAST!!! first off i was the only 6gc there i got TONS of compliments on the car and met a couple of guys who know about the site and what these cars can actually do hehe

but i took 3 trips down the track with my 5sfe with a couple bolt ons and my best time was a 16.8, i prob could have gotten a 16.5 or maybe a 16.3 with a better launch but overall i was happy with it since it was my first time on the track. i just went with some buddies for the fun of it.
at the end of the summer those times will b different tho once i swap in my 3rd Gen 3sgte CANT WAIT!!!

but at the end of the day TOYOTA ruled the show with a red 1973 corolla hatch that went 8.2 senconds on the 1/4 at i believe was 170mph.. SOOOOO SICKKK let me tell u guys. i was proud to drive a toyota when i seen that since everything else he went up against was honda hatches and couple talons and 2 supras lol

IIRC dustin ran a 17.4 his first time back in the day.

Not bad at all! I've ran around a 16.25 (Can't remember the exact time) with a few practice runs in, but that's the best I've been able to manage. And it definitely wasn't my first time at the track. Keep it up!

ya i ran a 16.9 the first time and missed second (gay..) ran a 17.8 the second time with not the greatest launch and then a 16.8 my final time. it was a good time.

thats pretty good richee thats gunna b a goal for me next time i go up!


hey manny.. i was shifting at 5500rpms on both of my 16 second passes bc i remember u sayin thats pretty muc when the powerband stops on a 5s, the 17 second pass i shifted at 6k bc me and brentton were goin bacl and forth about shiftin at 55 or 6 .. i think i was good shiftin at 55 he thinks i should kept with 6, wat do u think? ( i do kno that the launch is key)
