The grinding sound is coming from the ddrivers side

Not sure when it was changed so it was in my to do list but money has been tight.... great popped axle I'm screwed
if you hurt 1 axle then other one should still have power to it. If neither of your front wheels even attempts to spin I think your problem is not an axle. I am thinking you may have an issue with torque converter or transmission.

I assume your car revs up but nothing happens right?

Yes it revs but. It kinda jerks like it wants to move but can't neither tire moves
finally got underneath and it is the axle lame....
if your axle broke, the other wheel isn't going to pull.
it could be that your cv joint broke.

or your clutch is done for.

manual of course and its either a cv joint or the axle thanx for the help guys i would try to fix it myself but no proper tools mechanic wont get to work on it till monday....
They pretty easy to put in, only odd tool you need is for the axle nut. Rest is stardard sockets, and a pry bar. Oh and the fluid to refill the trans =P
