Dash lights problem - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #73379 6 posts Started by johnnehh
Well, after taking my car to the drags, my car has a weird problem. My dash lights don't work. That includes even the AC lights.

I checked the 7.5A Panel fuse and it was popped, so I replaced it and turned on my lights and it popped again.

Before I go tear apart my car, has anyone ever had this problem? I hope there's an easy fix.. tongue.gif

I had the same issue.... any new electrical additions? My issue was that one of the wires from my aftermarket stereo got loose and was grounding out(radio still worked so I was scratching my head for a while). Fixed the wire, fixed the fuse and it worked. Check all the electronics and make sure all the connections are contacting correctly and nothing is grounding out.

Concur with Dabazied; your electrical ...if it's a headlamp, I'd still start at the lens. Check for cracks / breaks / moisture where the bulb contacts the socket... but other culprits, as D said, an amp for a speaker box? accessories? home mods added?
Look forward to hear what the problem ends up being...post pics when you find the short/ground
