O yes also.. the guys that have there turbo system (7afte)... how long did it actually take, once you had all the parts, to put in the car.... Thanks
I will just give you my best advice;
If you don't know how to do and don't have the time to know, then buy it, or ask to a good friend to help you.
BUT
If you don't have so much money, never try to do anything performing and difficult on a car, specially if you know nothing; this should cost you a lot of money to learn how-to do it and repare your error.
Installing a Turbo is not so easy than change your tire...

if you want to turbo you have to do your homework... and thats not only looking online.. you have to pick up some books...go check somebooks out about booting... read any and everything you can... stuff on what and whatnot to do... the ask people that have custom turbo kits...once you have enuff know how... get more information...

I just recently went through the same delimma. I'm making decent money now, so I was seriously thinking about buying a new car, perhaps an EVO or an SRT-4. But after one of my friends just wrecked his brand new STi I'm thinking thats not such a good idea. I'm really not down with the insurance companies right now, so I'd rather have something thats not too difficult or expensive to replace. I also love many things about the 6gc and just want to improve on the things I don't like. I decided to go turbo. Granted, my skill level and available resources are higher than most. I don't recommend this to anyone thats not willing to work hard at it. I think most people can learn enough to do it, but it takes work and time.
If things end up the way I want, I'll have a car thats as fast or faster than the new cars I was thinking about buying, and at a fraction of the cost.
