pulled 20+lbs of sand and water out of invader rear - 6G Celicas Forums

So I have had my invader rear installed for about 3 months, and most of my driving is highway, and to school. Not like I can go mudding with my celi lol, but I was washing my car when i saw a puddle in my invader RB, right behind the wheels, where there is no protection from water getting in there, and its a HUGE container basically for water.... or so i thought

So I grabbed my drill and drilled a hole on the bottom..... no water?... drilled a few more along the bottom.... not water?

So; very confused, I reached my hand up inside the bumper and not only was there tons of water, but like 4" of dirt (felt like sand) so I dug around and drilled more holes.

Eventually the water came rushing out! literally like more than a gallon on each side, of nasty old water and dirt. and 3 pennys, a nut and a screw! I'm lucky my tire flung it up there and not in my tire! lol

Anyway I never heard of this problem b4... any one else have it? if not go check behind your rear wheels smile.gif
I probably got like 20+lbs out of there! and i was driving in the rain, and when i got home I saw the water still coming out of the holes I drilled, so it is working smile.gif

Rear bumpers are effectively giant parachutes, that's why a lot of people opt for rear diffusers when they can.
Use that great stuff expanding foam and fill it in
