hmm im getting my car painted black in 3 weeks. just wanted some input on Black on black rims like this::



but the rims looks like this. the ones on the rear::

Go with anthracite (dark grey) so as not to loose the defenition of the wheel.
Just my 2 psi.

Yeah, along those lines. Youll need to keep your tires slicked to stop them looking like ass on a dark rim.

He speaks the truth, Black cars just love the dirt...its annoying spending couple hours cleaning her up for a few pics, than the next day...it was right before you started.

I think it would look okay, to be back on topic. I personally perfer more definition of the rims, but gunmetal should do fine.

murdered cars are fairly common,but its your choice,dont base your decision on what other people think.Make your car look good to YOU..Thats my 2 bars(haha)

get something with a bigger dish... chrome lip. black or gun metal is a nice choice though!

i know what you mean.. although i AM modding it to my liking, im just asking for opinions in case someone knows about or has already done something similar that i havent seen which i might like even more (that "anthracite" color that he posted was an example).. so it's just for ideas.

i'd never put white rims on a black car EVER. it just sticks out so much, ppl will tend to look at your rims more than your car. it's just my preference i guess

Black is nice but make sure you get a deep dish and put chrome on the lip or at least another color to accentuate the wheels. You don't want them lost in the shuffle. You paid for them show them off!

You all seen my car, Black, Polished lip, Gunmetal spokes. Everyone runs polished/chrome lip on black or dark colored spokes so it isnt really that appealing. Oh Im getting different rims too you'll just have to wait on that.

But a Murdered out Celica would look just too plain.

apparently i dont have money for deep dish rims right now. all of it went to GT4 parts. i think my enkei's will do for now though. im thinking of Gunmetal gray rims. i need a lip still.. or euro splitters >.>

those rims would look good on ur car, with the black on black... but it would look sick as hell with a red pinstripe around the outside of the rim
