just get the parts and swap them. you need the cap for the other side and the selector shaft. why are you doing this swap. is your tranny dead? you can use all the parts from your old tranny

only thing is if its out of a mr2, its an s53 not an s54. weaker syncros.

Uh I dunno from everything I have read other then your past posts pressure, the mr2 here in the states got the s54. Which makes sense. Also there are a few s54's from japan that have the manual sensor with electrical adapter like i think this one had.

i would think the either in 94 or 95 the mr2 got the s54. all the earlier ones that have the mechanical speedo sensor are the s53.
