I just started using Solidworks. It's pretty awesome. I caded a ashtray for one of my fraternity brothers, what do you guys think?

Not bad.

I use NX6, bit more high-end, these are just quick renders, but this is my best product to date, makes $7m per year for my company smile.gif

I used solidworks for 3 years at my engineering job to design and build Wax injection molding machines. its fairly user friendly (i believe)

I just started using Gibbs Cam for solid parts and hope to start using solidworks soon.

Another gibbs solid. I got tired of trying to make tiny parts in
the beatup mini vise where I work so I decided to make my own.






JDM guy made me do it.
here's something i helped design. i came up with the specs but had another team member do the drawing and render.

it's a prototype of a gas-charged oil accumulator for a honda cbr600 f4i engine from the university's formula sae race vehicle.
