without cursing up a storm let me bring you up to speed. Last year around september we got a new member who just bought a white celica. He has made quite a fuss on our forums talking about how much he loves celicas etc etc. So he made his celica look like a rally car (through decals) and other body parts. car went through a paint job as well. After swearing he would never sell the car he very hastily made a for sale thread and is currently either purchasing a mini or have already purchased a mini.

o know darryl and i know the entire story, after he got the decals done and i installed the speakers and parts of the radio he loved the car, he liked the castrol rally car as a kid and modeled the car after that, now about december he started to have issues with the car, electronic issues with the battery and several different terminals, then the other day it just died and would not move, he needed a more reliable car so he bought the mini, end of story

I would think a prius is not as fun a Celica or a mini. But then again, WHY WOULD YOU WANT A MINI? But i understand he got a great deal on it so i guess that will sufice!!

im saying that every girl i know that has seen my celica and my mini say its an improvement. the Mini has more aftermarket, and easier to make more power with without swapping. plus u can pick up a Cooper S for pretty cheap now. cant beat OEM boost! 
my intake actually gave my noticeable gains, so did my cat-back exhaust. and once i get my pulley on, you are gonna need a seriously modded celica to keep up with me in the straits and turns.(swap with upped boost or a serious 5sfte build) there is a reason why mini's sell so well; they are an enthusiast's car. Always has been and always will.

And it means that he's not a 19 year old kid living at home still with nothing to spend his money on but his car. People have marriages, lives, jobs to get to every day. He finished his project, the car started having issues, he moved on. No big deal. It's still just a ****ing car.
