actually there are 4 top speeds for the celica.
The California/United States celica ST has a top speed of 111 mph governed. do to weak tires that came stock from factory
USDM Celica GT has top speed of 138 mph.
Celica ST202 (referered to as SS-II and SS-III) with same transmission as the celica GT, but has longer gear ratio's. top speed of 147 mph.
Celica GT-4 top speed of 155 mph

I haven't messed with the governer and my st got to 126 before it hit the limit, on the track of course.

If you can get it there... I've ran mine a few times. Once I got lucky and pushed it to 136, slightly downhill. Otherwise it gets to 125 and doesn't have the power to go any faster. It's not redlining yet, but it's only ~200 rpm away. Not hitting the rev limiter or anything, just simply does not have the power to go any faster. I have a GT 5 speed with a short ram intake.

ive gone 110 and i stopped there in my 97 st, and it takes forever but that was a couple months ago, it took about 3 miles ha ha..
ive only got my GT to 117.. shes a lil tired tho
