I have a 94 ST. So working on my car the other day and notice that my positive battery cable was corroded so decided to change it out. Had a friend that said he could do it ended up he couldn't so went to Gemini to have them replace it but was told I needed a wire harness. Already checked Toyota world with no luck finding the part.
So my question is do I really need a wire harness for the positive cable battery lead and if so where can I find one?
Pictures of how bad the damage is? I'm pretty sure that a few members on here can sell you a wiring harness. I know that I've read that some have them, just wait for the right person to read this thread

some people get battery cables and use those :-)
you can try to get a whole new cable from a wrecking yard; Or buy a splice kit from an autoparts store and reuse the good portion of your battery cable.
are you sure its the wiring or just the battery terminal? you can replace those terminals by itself since thats where it really corrodes on the battery.

it's the battery cable that I needed to replaced. I found the part its like $70 from toyota. The cable itself splits into three parts. So unless you get one from a wrecked car you can only get it from the dealership cause no part store carry its.
