The first park looks pretty cool. If you are trying to get votes together for whichever, put me down for the first park. Just always know, I'm fine with whatever we decide is best.

So Im home (on my day off) and sick. Yea me! So after my nap here, I'll be sending out PM's to all the people who made it such a fun meet last time, and to the ones that couldnt show and try to get a def location nailed down, along with date/time. One more thing that I want to add here, The first park (Bob Mcfarland) is at a dead end, in a residential area, whereas the other park (Gene Schrickel, Jr) is off of the highway. Either way....for me to reserve this (I'll probably do 1/2 day) its $35. So without further delay here goes the list! For now......

Decided to do the two 40hr/week jobs before my cruise this summer, i'll have to schedule off work, and if not i'll show up for a bit anyways.

Hell, I tried to get ppl together for a cruise that was only about hour or so away and everyone said that was too far away. But keeping that in mind for a future meet/get together.
pfft, my favorite place to be is in my car. I'll drive just to drive!
On a side note, so in the past two months, i've had my subs/amp+cap/tools stolen and was sideswipped which he attempted to run, denied. Gotta put the car in the shop

Ok, so today I have some time and am going to call and see what I have to do to reserve that park. I'll post an update by tomorrow!
Alright, so its been a while.....I havent had much luck getting the park reserved, it seems the offices are not open on weekends. But I'm still aiming for the park. How does the 5th of June sound? As far as burning things, I meant grilling. But hey, if it burns......I'm also going to scan the surrounding area for good places to snap some photos. It'll probably be an afternoon meet, so I'll look for places that has some good spots for the day and some places for night shots. Again any suggestions are welcome.
mobile post. just got off the phone with the parks dept. so far the date is open for booking. so it'll be around 4ish on the 5th of june.
my schedule is so darn busy with work and all, but I'm definitely gonna put my heart into making this meet. THe body shop came and got my car Monday so I will be checking on progress this weekend when i'm back in town. After its done, gotta put the engine back in and all. Hope you guys will like my new celica. Can't wait for this meet. The best part of meets are enjoying ur ride with people who share the same interest.
Can't wait to see the new paint! Hopefully by the time of the meet I'll have a few things done, but in all likleyhood, still have that dent, that keeps me from washing the car. So ugly. Thinking of a location change though.
After mulling it over, the site picked has its shortcomings, mostly no where to pee at, unless you feel like whipping it out in front of school kids. Thinking of Bowman Springs again, plenty of parking and it wont cost anyone anything to show up. Can chill then take a cruise to somewhere else. Still looking around though, but will have something nailed down in about two weeks either way. So please keep an eye for that update. Till then guys!

I'll let you know in a few days. May happen at the begining of June, or may happen a bit later. It all depends on what other meets are going on in the area. As I try not to have 6gc meets on other larger group meets (ie, cupcake, HIN, etc....) its just hard to get good turnout when there are several meets happening close to the same time. But def should have a date nailed down by Sat.

Its def some time in June. Either the first week, or close to the third. Its really all going to depend on several things. But I'll post further info this weekend, so be on the lookout for that. I really do want to do this at one of the parks, but if its there it'll be the one closer to 20 (easy access and there is a gas station next door....as neither park has a restroom....that costs like 100 extra. I don't mind shelling out 35 , but 100....). I would love to get max participation if possible. I dont really care what kind of Celica shows up either....

Gene Schrickel, Jr Park (4500 Park Springs Boulevard). I really liked the other one, but with no real good place to..well..you know, piss. It kinda makes it hard to pick that one, I tried to get something arranged, but read the previous posts. Although, what I do like most about the park its going to be at (hopefully) is the location to 20, and there is a gas station next door, in case someone does have to take care of some business. I'll try to head out there this weekend and snap some better shots for you guys. It pretty much offers the same as the other site (grill, shade) just a different location. I'll post more info as I get it in. But everything will be nailed down by this sunday at the latest!

Ok, got a date narrowed down (22 or 23), got a location set (Gene Schrickel, Jr Park), time will be around 4PM early shows. Now, as of now Im still hovering the date, and plan on taking some scouting shots tomorrow. There is a grill, so we'll be burning some meat. Remember, if you are a member but dont own a celica anymore, your still welcome, so stop on by! On top of that we'll have some out of town guests show up, so lets make them feel welcome.
