Finally Finished My Swapped 94 Celica Coupe (after 7 years) - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #71737 27 posts Started by rsos1
I finally somewhat finished my car last summer. I have had this car since I was 16 and have been messing around with it for over 7 years now and have never posted any pictures of the car. Car has 18" Konig Imagine wheels, Ground Control coilovers, Veilside body kit, modified stock turbo supra spoiler, gt4 hood, custom tail lights. I swapped the st185 celica all-trac RC engine in the car back in 2005. The engine has a metal TTE headgasket, ARP Head studs, 20g turbo, with ATS stainless 3in downpipe, and 3in exhaust. I have a dual feed fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator and 550's waiting to be installed still. Car is a blast to drive hope you guys like the pictures, and thanks for all the help over the years.

It is a stock supra spoiler cut down and fitted to the coupe truck. Took a lot of time...

That's what I was thinking it was. Did the base have a lot of fitment issues once the spoiler got narrowed or was it pretty good from there?

Amazing car btw, lol. I'm assuming you have the engine mounted with a fwd tranny or did you go ahead with the awd?

Yeah it doesn't sit flat, curves down on the outsides of the car. There was a lot of taking on and off to get it to fit right, turned out good though. Its a FWD, didnt go through all the trouble of making it AWD.
That motor shot is baller status!
dang, beautifully done,

i like the custom hump you did of the fron bumper. seems like you can sell the mold, if you have it..

btw did can you get a shot of the edge of the bumper with the hood open, i want to see how you mounted the rubber, looks awesomw...

Learned a lot in 10 years...I hardly log in anymore, last loginToday Sept 6 2019, and I was forced just to clarify a post. LOLIf you PM me and I dont respond, dont fret or cry. Thanks for the compliments.
I don't have any rubber, the metal piece that holds the stock rubber would not fit with the curves of the veilside bumper.
WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!! this car is cleannnn damn bro u did a great job with this coupe.. the engine bay is flawlesss so sexy.. when i was readin about the body kit ill honestly say i was nervous bc i dont regularly liek the aftermarket kits on these cars but you did a AMAZING job pullin this one off.. the gt4 hood completes the kit.. good job broski

Right click... aaaand set as background.

Gorgeous car. Just wow.
That is soo very nicely done.

May I ask what engine is that? It looks like a Carlos Sainz ST185 motor, or ST185RC.

Gen 2 doesn't have normally have W2A except on the Rally / Carlos Sainz editions. And it doesn't look like a Gen 3 W2A because I see you had to weld on your own BOV pipe. I really like the colours you've used to detail the engine though, It looks absolutely perfect.

beautfiul engine bay, I like the fact that you painted the engine bay red. Everything looks so clean, nice job biggrin.gif

Love the spoiler...looks great on a coupe. Dont happen to have any pics of that thing in progress?
clean looking car!

I have to say, I don't like the Veilside kit and I'm not a giant fan of the coupes, for that matter...but if I had to take a Veilsided 6GC, it'd be this one! It does suit the coupe better, for some reason. Definitely one of, if not THE best, coupe I've seen on this site. Nice job.

I have to say, for having so many modifications...it is extremely, and I mean EXTREMELY, nicely and cleanly done. The engine alone is one of the best 3S-GTE's I've seen here.

Thanks agian for all the compliments. I will have to get some more pictures of the engine bay for you guys. Everything in the bay was painted, ceramic coated, or powder coated chrome.
mmmchocolate approves.

A work in (extremely slow) progress
how did the dent in your dash happen on the passengers side? or is that just light?
Wow! Beautifully done man. Now you can focus on little stuff like, tucking the engine and stuff. Very nice!

very clean and good work.

Congrats and good job!
:waves hand like Obiwan:

You want to come to Ohio. You want to do a swap with me....

PS: Please put your first picture in the contest for next year's calendar. That's a beautiful picture. Not many body kit Celicas grab my attention, but I could look at that image all day smile.gif.

Pretty much my sentiments exactly. While some of it isn't my personal taste, I give you HUGE credit for all the work and detail and time you've put into this build. It's extremely well done, and VERY impressive. And that engine bay is just to die for, dahling! Top notch work all around in that car. It's totally inspiring and motivates me to keep going with my own! Thanks so much for sharing!

I was thinking the same thing. If I don't see some high rez shots in my email for consideration for the 2011 calendar, I will personally hunt you down and key your car once I return it from stealing it to joyride and rob liquor stores in. laugh.gif

edit: actually, let's not play around here. Pic your favorite photos and get them to me now. I'll keep them set aside, 'cause I'm organized like that, for the calendar which I will begin work for in August. send them to 6gcCalendar@gmail.com please. wink.gif
