New Toyota FT-86 concept - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #71142 6 posts Started by bhawk94
Super Street magazine wrote an article on the new concept car for Toyota with the AE86 inspirations, thus the name. I can't stop looking at it! It's RWD with a Subaru designed 2.0 L boxer engine with great styling. It's great to see Toyota hasn't forgotten about it's sport coupe enthusiasts. Even though many sources are saying it may come out in 2011, I just hope it makes it past the concept stage.

Check it out.

It's already past the concept stage. They have been testing mules for a few years already and it's going on sale late next year or early 2011. Old news.

It's also going to be called a celica, and subaru is going to make an STI version.
where does it say it will be a celica?

and of course this is a repost...

I performed a search but nothing came up...didn't realize it was a repost. Still it's the best thing I've seen from Toyota in a while.
