The 3rd gen is the closest, but still not truly a mid-engined car. However, both the Miata and RX8 push that envelope to the limit of what is considered mid-engined. Kudos to Mazda.
However, in Madmods scenario, he'll need the whole engine behind the driver. My question is.. why not use the tube chassis? Madmods, I'd like to see this car up close. I visit the Phoenix area every so often, and I'll have to stop by for a peek at your Vendetta once its done. Keep up the good work bud.
