speaking of madmods. I remember when this guy came about on 6gc way back when. I thought to myself that he was just another guy who talks big with no game. I was wrong. Though it may sometimes waiver from my taste, you put in alot of work on your cars and truly have earned your name time over. I just clicked on your link to the Solstice. Crazy, man. I'm glad you kept up the work and please keep it up. I'll be sure to check in for the Vendetta.

Good to hear from all of you. Man I learned alot on this forum that I took over to the solstice forum. Like the rest of you we are all hardcore car guys that push the envelope. The vendetta is the new project, and we are still deciding on what chassis to build it on. I am thinking porsche boxer, but the tube frame from the builder is a diablo replica. The motor is a 3800 supercharged which I am going to twincharge. Aim is 550-700hp, though in reality you can not use more then 300hp on the street. For you who do not know the vendetta here it is.

I would imagine a Porsche chassis to be pretty expensive...why not try one from a Miata?

Actually, it's FMR... front mid-engined. The engine is still between the axles. And the car actually has great weight distribution, 52/48.

The 3rd gen is the closest, but still not truly a mid-engined car. However, both the Miata and RX8 push that envelope to the limit of what is considered mid-engined. Kudos to Mazda.
However, in Madmods scenario, he'll need the whole engine behind the driver. My question is.. why not use the tube chassis? Madmods, I'd like to see this car up close. I visit the Phoenix area every so often, and I'll have to stop by for a peek at your Vendetta once its done. Keep up the good work bud.
