Well, the last one was definitely fun, some people weren't able to attend to the last one. So, by popular demand, we are setting up a part 2. It will be the weekend of November 7th. I figure we can do a canyon drive and possibly a lil beach run or something. Post up if you have any ideas and if you plan on being a part of this one. Plans never go as expected, the best times are when you have a general idea of what's up and just be random, so post up some ideas.

MEETING PLACE: Walmart in Glendora at 1950 Auto Centre Dr, Glendora, CA. It is right off the 210 and 57 freeways.
TIME: 11am(so far)
WHAT: Canyon Run and whatever the group decides for afterwards

Well, I think we should solidify something in the next couple days regarding a date, a plan on what to do and all that good stuff. Everyone throw up some input and ideas. We will go with whatever majority wants, but I'm even down for doing more than one in Nov. Just throw out some ideas and all that good stuff.

I agree with Faustino that the 7th is too soon. Meets should be held a minimum of 1 month apart from each other. But meets are the most effective when only held 3-5 times a year. This makes these meets more exclusive and makes people want to try and attend the meets even more. If there is a meet every other week, then people will just flake out cause they just figure they'll show up another time.

dabazied, i was able to find a metal front mesh grille that might be big enough for your car. i'll throw it in the car the next time we meet up and see if it will work.


the idea for super autotoyz is good, but the problem with it is that A) the store really sucks now and the prices did not get better nor did the brand qualities that they offer and B)its sort have gotten more attention from the police because of dumb ricers in their parking lot. i'm not too afraid since all they may be able to get me for is my muffler, but i know others may be scared away because of this. we could always meet up at hooters in costa mesa........

i was waiting to meet up with you and give you cash for them. my springs are so bad, i can compress them with my bare hands. the girl that owned the car before said she changed the struts without using a spring compressor......can you say spring sag like a mofo? lol

I totally agree Derrick, only thing is, with the holidays coming up, this will probably be the last actual meet until 2010.... The only issue I see with an early canyon run is from what was told to me last time, it'll probably be semi busy, right Windowlicker? Later in the day is best for that and traffic to be died down a little, right?..... Keep throwing out ideas on what everyone wants to do, thinks would be cool, and a nice meet up spot. Trying to have a finalized plan(for the most part) up by Monday.

It's cool, I don't have anything against you guys hanging out. It's just that it seemed like the past few meets have been back to back and have been getting less and less interest you know? But anyways, I'm sure you guys can get just as many people as the last meet to attend this one. Sounds like it's going to be fun! So hope everyone has a good time, please be careful in the canyons guys, let's try not to get too much traffic up there.

basically, anytime during daylight hours in any of the spots, there are going to be sight seers out, so there's gonna be traffic. really early in the moring isn't bad for traffic, but later in the morning (starting around 9/10am) people start going up. there are people up until about an hour or two after the sun goes down.

personally, i would rather that we don't use the names of the roads on these threads as random people can read it and i would rather the info not get into the wrong hands sort of speak. i did have an idea of another spot that has an amazing little road, very scenic and reminds me of the videos i've seen from the wrc cars at monte carlo. we could find a good meet up spot and then go up together. i'm game to go up whenever, but keep in mind that between late morning and a couple hours before sunset, the sun is so bright it has a tendancy to whitewash the backgrounds of pictures, so mid day photoshoots can be a pain for good shots.

actually a bbq/picnic up there wouldn't be a bad idea, but i can't remember where we would need adventure passes and where we wouldn't need them. some spots require you to have passes in order to park. i'll look into it and see where we can go.

i was at GMR last night, there's a spot in the middle that connects baldy, azusa, and glendora that people park at. we could park there too. i was there from 11pm-1am though..never been there during the day so i don't know how it's like.

i don't mind when we go, i like it there. so as long as we hit the canyons im happy. haha. it's a fascinating scene during the night too. :] there's a spot where we can have a picnic at the beginning section of glendora.

What were you doing there at that hour there Mr? LOL jk Yeah it sounds good, but let's see what everyone else says who is going.
