HELP what size is the front door speakers - 6G Celicas Forums

hi what size is the front door speakers i just bought a 1994 st202 import

and are after market ones a straight fit ?

also what mark is it does anyone know if it a 1 2 or 3 ?

Your car is a 6th gen...hence, 6GC.net.

The front speakers are 6.5's, and aftermarket speakers will fit, BUT you have to get a replacement bezel to fit the 8" speaker space. Hope this helps.

Or you could buy 8" replacements like I did. Here's a couple: http://www.allaudioexpo.com/nav/listing.asp?catid=95 I installed the Pyle three ways and they work perfectly. You may have to open up the back of the speaker mount to get the larger magnet through. An easy fix.

that is correct, i have the 8" pyle now, use a saw to cut the back part of the mount, takes about 5-10 min.

hey which ones are better? the pyle or the or the lanzar? The lanzar are 2 dollars more and I prefer the color but what do you think?

the pyle are pretty good but they arent the best, haven't ever heard lanzar in person so can't tell you how they perform.
they are about the same price and their qaulity is about the same but if you like the style better go with lanzar.
