New (old) seats - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #69094 4 posts Started by conus00
Finally got around today to installing the seats which have been sitting wrapped in plastic in my buddy's garage for two years (since I've blown engine on my old '94 Probe).
Seats are Ractive 72000 Series (72030) mounted on Sparco Sliders and brackets. Seatbelts are some noname crap because I pulled my Sparcos out for cleaning.

Sorry for the crappy (cell) pictures but what do you guys think?

I like them, a lot actually...they fit the interior well.

Probably my least favorite thing about the 6GC interior; everything looks modern and sleek, but the seats are so dated.

Thanks! I agree, IMO the stock Celica seats are the "weakest link" on otherwise very modern looking interior.

Thanks, man.
I got them cheap off of Ebay, something like $350 shipped (both) but that was good 5 years ago. smile.gif
The Sparco brackets were $99 a piece and the sliders around $150 (both).

As far as the mirror goes, when I got the Celica there was mirror installed on the winshield (as opposed to roof mounted OEM) so I just stuck with it and clipped on RAZO wide concave mirror.
From this angle it looks like crap, from drivers view it looks bada$$ though! biggrin.gif
