I am liking these rims and wonder if they would fit. There wrx rims 5 by 100 like a celica and the offset is 48 does anyone think I will have problems fitting these rims? I read online others putting wrx rims on a celica let me know asap they end soon

you will need spacers ( I'd recommed 10 MM ) and they'll fit / look perfect.

not good, better get a smaller offset rim.

im using a 5zigen +48, which is not so suitable for a celica, i got a prob now since im going GTE with 4 Pot Calipers . Best is 35+

if you add a 10 mm spacer, you'll have a 38 mm fitment,

I think is cheaper to add some spacers than replacing the wheels, just make sure you get quality spacers / studs and you'll be fine.

I would only recommend 8mm spacers on stock studs. Any larger and I would say you need extended studs.

8 mm spacer will not fit on stock studs, anything bigger than 3 mm is recomended to get longer studs.

Well I suppose either way it isn't worth the extra money just to get a high-offset wheel to fit.

~ 2 years ago, I tried to fit 5 mm spacers and I had like 1 turn on my lugnuts ( NOT SAFE )

I think is worthy, because the cost of replacing wheels is a lot higher, plus if you get the right spacers, these wheels will sit flush with the body.

I have cheap ebay rims on the car no there 40 offset, and They fit how much difference would it be? A 5mm spacer would work then?

The difference between +40 and +48 is around .315" inwards, which means the wheels and/or tires have a high chance of rubbing on the strut body. I had +42 Rays and those sat REAL close to the strut body. You wouldn't be able to run negative camber at all.

And a 5mm spacer will bring a 48 offset to 43, which still isn't very good. You'd want a 10mm spacer at least to bring you out to a 38 offset. To run that large of a spacer you will need to purchase extended studs and have them installed, which isn't very cheap. Then you'll need to buy open-ended lug nuts to fit the extended studs. Once you have the studs and lug nuts you can put on a 10mm spacer, and mount the wheels.

I see, 10mm spacer new lug nuts. With the spacer will my rims an tires be even or close to the fender edge for a wide stance look? Cause mine on there now set in side the fender about 2 inches and it looks like crap

I believe +35 is just inside the fender, so you'll be 3mm inside of that, or just .11" inside from a +35 offset.

im not sure about using a spacer, is it reliable, handling problems?

sounds like a high offset, try test fitting it and see if it clears teh brakes or suspension and if not use spacers but do not use too big of a spacer. Keep it minimal.

Did not want the headache so I did not get them. Is there a way if I get a lower offset for the rims to be flush with the fenders? Maybe a lower offset that 35?

1 inch spacer. Will give you an offset of 23. Will have a bit of poke and will need stretched tires.

(1 inch (25mm), a 15mm spacer should work nicely for you if you still want the wheels to tuck. Give you 33mm offset.
