I looked up online that our oil pans only hold little under 4 quarts of oil yet everyone says i should use 5, I generally put 4 plus an Oil Additive so is this fine or should I be putting 5 whole quarts? or is that too much? or am i using too much with the oil additive? Usually the dipstick ends up between min and max, i just wanna be safe though?

it takes about 4.5qts.
