Wait.... How does that make sense? I have been using eBay since 2004 and whenever someone stiffed me through paypal, I presented my case to paypal and if that seller never responded, guess what? Paypal took the money out of their account and placed it back in my hands. This has happened at least twice, and the only other two times I Have been scammed was when I first started and when they said to pay by money order.... I learned real fast.

Well...... I use it, maybe I just know what to look for now, because I haven't been scammed. I save the sellers and if I ever need to go back, I can, because they are trusted, or you can ask friends who they bought from, or ask us.... (we should make a Trusted eBay Seller page, for anyone who inquires a seller, since we all use it).

second time around, i was given a fake tracking number and by the time i got ahold of the company they have pulled the paypal account

I am really sorry about your luck. I know it might be a pain, but you should read reviews, never bid from a zero feedback seller, also check the community on certain items, because even if the seller changes their name, they typically will sell the same merchandise. For the paypal issue, with them not refunding you once you sign for it, I am sure they would make an exception if you take photos that are dated as you sign for the item and open it. Because that is evidence, and in a court of law, with the other side not having proof of such, and you having dated photos, that is much better than nothing and would help your case immensely! I know it is not a court of law, but that would have to be greatly considered as they should be aware of it.

I know that sounds overboard, but for me, that is how I was raised. My mother is very cautious in all she does and it kind of rubbed off on me, plus becoming familiar with such things helps as well.

Well, seriously, if you're willing to wait... I will order the items off ebay, have them delivered to my house. Once they are in my hands, I will take pictures, send them to you, and then ship the item for 25+shipping. If the item never comes, or I get scammed, you don't lose any money. It's all on me.

^ Ya can't beat that deal. The thing is Mstoochn that everyone on here who bought theirs got them off eBay. I also don't understand why you've had such bad luck, but I guess it's just that, bad luck. I've been using eBay - both buying and selling - for seriously IDK like 8 or 9 years now, and I have NEVER ONCE had an issue.

anyway I'd take him up on that offer, sounds like a great deal to me.

there's no risk with that guy. i even contacted him again about a crappy socket. sent back the old one and got a new one.
